Tattoos Tribal
You know it and I know it. Tribal tattoos are hot right now. Their popularity really started in the nineties and they have been building steam ever since. People wear them for various reasons but, in ancient times, tribal tattoos were used to help identify members of different tribes. They were also used to indicate social hierarchy within tribes and document significant events within the history of the tribe, such as major battles and feats of bravery. If you skip ahead a few of millenia tribal tattoos now are a popular personal statement worn by people all over the place. These days, instead of using tribal tattoos to group people into the same tribe, people use them to express their personality and their individuality. I really like the animal tribal tattoo in the picture. It combines the best elements of a tribal tattoo with the best elements of an animal. This looks like it’s a dragon waiting to open it’s mouth and belch wave after wave of fire upon it’s unfortunate victim. If you want to get a tattoo then consider getting a tribal tattoo. Maybe there is a tribal tattoo for you. Maybe it’s the one pictured here. You never know.

What tattoo design accounts for nearly half of all tattoo request among young males? That would be tattoo tribal designs. Wow, I knew that they were requested a lot, but half is a whole lot. I just wonder why tattoo tribal designs are so popular. I mean, I know why they were popular back in the day. They were used for all sorts of reasons. They were used to identify members of the same clan, they were used as rites of passage and they were used as symbols of protection. But, do any of these reasons hold any merit in today’s society? Maybe as a symbol of protection, but that would be it. I think that tattoo tribal designs are so popular because they are regarded as a design that a ‘tough guy’ would wear. Now of course there is no reason why they would be a symbol of toughness, they certainly don’t raise a persons physical prowess. Unless women find it especially attractive then I could say they had a point. And in my opinion, I think tattoo tribal designs are just way over done. Sometimes somebody will come along and change it up but that’s usually few and far between.
