Tattoo Sleeve

I have always wanted to get a tattoo sleeve. Ever since I was a little kid I always admired guys who had extensive tattoo work done on their arms. I’m not exactly sure why, but it probably has something to do with the fact that tattoo sleeves always seem to have been worn by ‘tough guys’ or rebels. I know there were a lot of bikers where I lived and almost every single one of them had a tattoo sleeve. And I always thought that they were so cool. Of course now that I’m an adult I know that tattoo ink doesn’t necessarily make anybody any cooler, just like those who don’t have ink aren’t necessarily any less cool. But, I have to admit that there is a part of me that still secretly admires full tattoo sleeves, even though I have never had the courage to get my own set. Why is that, you ask? Well, it has a lot to do with getting older. You see, these designs would have looked really cool on me ten years ago and even today I may get away with sporting them. But what about 20-30 years down the road? And what about when I get a whole lot older? I’m not sure that full tattoo sleeves on a 90 year old man would look all that good. How about you?
Tattoo Sleeve

Here recently I have been thinking a lot about tattoo sleeves. And that’s probably because I see so many of them. As few as ten years ago, you barely saw them at all. But, nowadays it seems that everybody has a cool tattoo sleeve inked on their bodies. Whether they are quarter, half or full tattoo sleeves you see them everywhere. Today, I even saw my postal carrier with an incredible full tattoo sleeve inked on her arm! I didn’t even think that government workers were allowed to have visible ink. Yet, there she was handing me my mail sporting an incredible dragon tattoo sleeve on her arm, all the way down to her wrist. I was so impressed by it that I asked her to roll up her sleeve so that I could see the whole design. She was more than happy to comply and when she did I got a view of a beautiful rainbow colored tattoo that was very intricate and done in the Japanese style. It really started me thinking about getting my own inked. And then I saw this beautiful tattoo in the picture. This one really threw me for a loop. Now, I definitely need to get one done. As a matter of fact, I may just run down to my local tattoo shop today!!
