Star Tattoo
This star tattoo on a girls stomach had nothing really special about it. It’s just an average drably inked tattoo of a couple of bigger stars surrounded by a group of much smaller stars and it seems to be interconnected with the girls belly-button piercing as well. I suppose it is meant to be a star field like the milky way or something like that but it is difficult to tell. And no doubt this person has a little of that thinking that she herself is a star among other stars. Or maybe she sees herself as living in a world where stars are constantly crossing her path.
A star tattoo like this one can have a thousand meanings. And all I can say is that they are all right and they are all wrong. All but the one that this person chooses it to be. That’s the only one that counts and that is the only one that will ever count. For me it would stand for freedom but it doesn’t matter at all what we think, why should it? Get your own and it will have your own meaning. That’s the way this works.

I just have to say it. The star tattoo that is inked on this woman’s lower back is very sexy. Somebody had to say it. And I like the way this star tattoo is inked in the traditional "tramp stamp" style, though I’m really not fond of using that term to describe a woman’s lower back design. The only thing that puzzles me about this star tattoo is the motive behind the design. You see, the nautical star design that is the centerpiece of this tattoo is usually a symbol that is reserved for sailors or those who make their living off of the ocean. The nautical star is a symbol that is hundreds of years old and is symbolic of a safe journey home. So, sailors would often get this design inked on them as a symbol of good luck. But, now that I think about it there is another reason to get one of these star tattoos done. While the nautical star was once a symbol used primarily by sailors the lesbian community has recently adopted it’s usage. So, is this women stating that she has a love for the ocean or is she stating her sexual orientation. I guess we’ll never know for sure, but either way it’s a great design.
