Just as with any other tattoo, a Jesus tattoo has endless possibilities. The design can range from simple to quite elaborate. It can have words or a phrase surrounding it or just be a single image of Jesus. The image of Jesus can be anything from a close up of his face to a full body design of Jesus. It could include a halo or a crown of thorns around his head or even be Jesus on the cross. Many Jesus tattoos include a burning heart underneath the image of Jesus. The Virgin Mary can often be seen along with Jesus in certain tattoo designs. Tattoo size is another consideration. A Jesus tattoo can be a full back piece tattoo or a design on the upper arm. It could be a single tattoo or be incorporated into an existing tattoo. Some prefer a tattoo with a single color outline but it is also common to see vibrant colors on a tattoo that make it appear very lifelike. Colors often used are green, blue, black, white and red. The Jesus tattoo is a beautiful depiction of what can be done with a Jesus tattoo. It’s realism is simply fantastic and it was evidently done by a master tattoo artist.

When you get a Jesus tattoo, you are getting a design the 99% of all people will know the meaning of it. If you ask any mixed group of people who Jesus was, just about all of them will tell you. There might be that one guy who’s had his head under a rock since he was born, but by and large everyone will know. So, after you get a Jesus tattoo inked you can be pretty sure that there won’t be people coming up to you and asking who that is or what it represents. If they do, then you probably have a Jesus tattoo that is so poorly designed that nobody can recognize him!! Now, let’s take a moment and talk about the Jesus tattoo in the picture. This is one that I really like and I’ve seen quite a few tattoos of this sort. This one is done in a more natural style, as opposed to some of the monochromatic ones that I have seen recently. As is the case with almost all tattoos of this style, the blood is a lot brighter then the rest of the design, to highlight the fact that Jesus spilled his blood for our sins. Overall, I think this is a Jesus tattoo anyone would be proud to wear.
