Here we have another version of an angel wings tattoo. And this one seems to be on a guy. But that of course does not matter at all. I am not certain of the significance of the tribal tattoo style markings in the center of the wings but the wing themselves are pretty sharp looking and have a great deal of eye appeal. If I saw this tattoo out at the beach I would probably walk up closer to take a better look at it, because it catches the eye and whenever a tattoo does that for me I want to see it closer up and try to figure out why. The problem is I almost never can figure it out. It’s just the nature of tattoos I’m afraid. And it’s a very, very difficult thing to try to figure our why something appeals to your senses except to know that it does.

I always like an angel wings tattoo when I see it and I especially like these types with the feathered wings. Some are drawn with wings that do not include feathers but I have always imagined that an angel would have feathers so that looks best to me. And this angel wings tattoo goes a little further than half way down this man’s back.

I’m not sure that is entirely true. I know a few guys who have an angel wings tattoo on their back and to them it is a symbol of power that is derived from the arch angels of old who stood up to God about giving grace to mankind, and they still fight over it to this day, as believed by man. And some of the most feared entities of all religions, such as the devil, was in fact an Angel. So you see, having angel wings can also be the sign of a rebel, and often is.

When getting an angel wings tattoo one might pick large wings that span their whole back area or small ones that only take up a small area of the back. It’s really a matter of what you are comfortable with, after all, you’re not going to fly no matter how big they are. So just get something you are going to like for a long time.
